Yoga has been my constant companion on the journey since the late 1990’s. Like many practitioners I entered yoga through the door marked “physical”.

My practice has led to a stilling of the mind, opening of the heart and a sense of joy. The accompanying feelings of coming home, peace and contentment have enabled me to manage my own health challenges and life transitions with equanimity.

As a long term allied health practitioner, I am excited about the fertile ground that lies in the intersection of neuroscience and yoga which enriches and refines our understandings and practices.

My various passions have drawn me to gaining further qualifications in trauma informed yoga, chair yoga, yoga for seniors and healthy aging, yoga for pain care and somatic yoga.

I am committed to providing a yogic experience which allows students to explore the subtle mind body connection and practice the yoga they need for their mind/body right now. I can assist you to manage stress, anxiety and depression using yogic tools (as an adjunct to Western medicine). Classes are small to provide a personalised service and my aim is to help you move with steadiness and ease, develop a compassionate relationship with your body and leave class feeling calm and soothed.

I am a registered Level 1 teacher with Yoga Australia, International Yoga Teachers Association and Yoga for Pain Care Australia.
