Limbering, asana (poses), pranayama (breath work) yoga nidra (deep relaxation) and meditation. Themes include seasonal practices, practices for the nervous system, yogic energy system, yoga in everyday life, etc.

YOGA FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH ARTHRITIS

*Wednesday 10.00-11.30am McKellar

Chair based, with some standing poses, to help manage symptoms such as persistent stiffness and pain, thus enriching quality of life.

Learn to move within a comfortable range, enhancing balance, strength and flexibility.

Learn what your body CAN do while calming the mind/body through slow mindful movement, breath work, relaxation and meditation- breaking the cycle of stress reactivity.
